Privacy Policy

Rallio privacy policy version 1.8 · Effective date: October 30, 2026

This policy explains what information Rallio uses, why it is needed and the controls available to you.

1. Information we handle

2. How we use information

Rallio uses this information to create and secure your account, keep you signed in, show profiles and room activity, support nominations and rankings, display conversations, upload images you select, apply blocking preferences and respond to account-deletion requests. We also use it to maintain service reliability and protect users and the service from misuse.

3. Visibility and sharing

Your profile, room details, membership, nominations and published results may be visible to other signed-in Rallio users as part of the service. Images uploaded for public profiles or nominations may also be visible to those users. Account preferences, authentication information, consent records and blocking choices are treated as private account information.

Rallio relies on service and storage providers to process account, room and uploaded-image data. They receive only the information needed to provide those functions. When you use the system share action, the content you choose is passed to the app you select. Rallio does not use your information for third-party advertising.

4. Conversations, camera and microphone

Chat content is processed on the device used for the conversation and is not synchronized across devices. It remains separated by account and conversation. Signing out ends the active session; conversation data may remain available to the same account on that device until the account is deleted or the app data is cleared.

Camera and microphone access is requested only when you start a feature that needs it. Rallio does not record calls. You can withdraw camera, microphone or photo-library permission at any time in system settings.

5. Storage and security

Account, profile, room and ranking information is stored by the Rallio service. Avatar and nomination images you choose may be uploaded to the app’s storage service. Language, session and conversation information needed for the current device is stored with the app. Remote images may be cached to improve loading performance.

Rallio uses access controls and other reasonable safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so you should use a strong password and avoid placing sensitive personal information in public profile or room fields.

6. Retention and account deletion

Information is kept for as long as needed to provide Rallio, protect the service and meet applicable legal obligations. Retention may differ by data type. Cached files and conversation data can also be removed by clearing the app’s data from your device.

To delete your account, open Settings → Privacy & Security → Delete account. After confirmation, Rallio immediately disables sign-in for that account, removes the account data covered by the deletion process, clears that account’s conversation data from the device and signs out. Records required for security, legal compliance or backup recovery may remain for the applicable retention period.

7. Your choices and policy updates

You can update your profile, block participants, manage device permissions, sign out or request account deletion from the app. The policy is available in English and Chinese within Rallio and on the website.

We may update this policy when Rallio’s features or data practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be presented through the app or website as appropriate.
